How do I update HostBilling?

Before making the update, make a complete backup of your database and files.

Automatic Update using the Updater Plugin

Use the updater plugin, which is compatible with the business suite, hostbilling, and other apps.

Manual Update

You can upload the zipped copy of HostBilling and unzip it directly in your server; this process will replace files with new ones. Then log in to your dashboard, and it will make the necessary database schema changes.

Please remember, before the update process, to make a full backup of your database and files. And when you perform the update, do not delete your existing files. For example, deleting your current config file will redirect to a new installation instead of an update. So, replace them by unzipping the zip package or manually uploading files using FTP.
